Shelby County is developing a new Comprehensive Plan. New goals, objectives and strategies will be formulated to direct future growth and development and guide public investments in a way that acknowledges the opportunities facing the County today.
Review and comment on the Draft Comprehensive Plan!
The project team is pleased to reveal the Draft Comprehensive Plan for your review! Please submit your comments and suggested edits by using the comment form on this page, or by emailing them to Christie Pannell Hester at cpannell@shelbyal.com. One comment must be submitted at a time using the form to the right, but multiple comments may be submitted.
A hard copy of the Draft Plan can be reviewed at the Shelby County Services buildings in Pelham and on Highway 280. They will be located at the Development Services desk at the Pelham County Services Building located at 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124 and in the License office at the 280 County Services Building located at 19220 Highway 280, Birmingham, AL 35242. The public comment period will be open until February 20, 2023. |
