Shelby County is developing a new Comprehensive Plan. New goals, objectives and strategies will be formulated to direct future growth and development and guide public investments in a way that acknowledges the opportunities facing the County today.
The Shelby County Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 6, 2023 and voted 5-0 to adopt the new Shelby County Comprehensive Plan.
At the regularly scheduled meeting of the County Commission on April 10, the Commission will take a vote on ratifying the new Comprehensive Plan.
Final documents will be posted after April 10.
A hard copy of the Comprehensive Plan can be reviewed at the Shelby County Department of Development Services desk at the Pelham County Services Building located at 1123 County Services Drive, Pelham, AL 35124.
